Graphic Designer

We’re looking for a multi-skilled Graphic Designer with plenty of talent and a passion for all aspects of design to join our expanding team based in Colchester.

To take on this role you will need to be enthusiastic, creative, proactive, with excellent organisation skills and a good eye for detail. You will be comfortable working on a number of projects at the same time, as part of a team as well as independently, taking projects from concept to completion on-time and on-budget.

The successful candidate will probably have 1 – 2 years commercial experience as a Graphic Designer within an agency, working on both print and digital projects. You will also have a degree or equivalent in a design related area (Graphic Design, Visual Communication or other graphic design related subject).

In terms of skill set, you will have excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, plus a good understanding of web design (ideally having working knowledge of HTML and CSS), experience working with WordPress and an understanding of responsive design for mobile devices would be an advantage.

Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, proactive and well organised Account Manager to join our growing team. If building client relationships, winning new business and delivering outstanding projects is what makes you tick, then we’d like to talk to you.

What skills will you need?

You should be comfortable and confident liaising with clients and taking creative briefs and then advising and working with our creative team in order to deliver on these.

As well as responding to client needs, this role also involves a degree of business development, whether it is growing existing accounts or spotting business opportunities.

As well as an ability to manage client accounts, you will have an ability to manage the other team members, inspiring colleagues to deliver the highest quality creative output and excellent client service.

What will the role involve?

  •  Research and strategic thinking
  •  Attending client meetings and pitches
  •  Taking detailed client briefs and interpreting these into proposals and estimates
  •  Project planning and delivery from concept to completion
  •  Meticulous budget and job-flow management
  •  Developing new business from the acquisition of new clients and from existing clients

  •  Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
  •  Ability to deliver projects across a wide range of media – web/print/exhibition
